It sucks scro! BTW I do know something about recording as I stated earlier in this thread. Every single sound on that cut was synthetically produced on a key bard including the drums, with the exception of his muttering and the piano/organTozza Mazza wrote:At least Jaime has a talent ( It may not be to your taste, but to make it from scratch takes a lot of time and effort ) and does this because he's passionate about it.
I expect Lewis is doing it because he wants to be a rapper livin it up in LA, look at his manager. It'll be tripe and hopefully get torn apart by the press, so Lewis can do his job.
I also have experience of recording music, and whilst it's true that many of JA's sounds are electronics, it's not as simple as 'playing it in on a keyboard', if that was all there was to it, everyone would be a musician no?Mr Alcatraz wrote:It sucks scro! We called that crap in the 1960’s JMHObro
But I like JA as a racer, and don't have any problem with him doing this.
As R. Leeds said it's a good hobby, and probably won’t hurt himself doing it.
If he is down with it that is all that matters. I played around a little with “Pro Tools”, and if you have any interest in recording music it is really fun
He said it will be R and B, so there is a little wiggle room in terms of whether he mixes rap with it.Tozza Mazza wrote:
I just think Ham's 'album' will be tripe, because I know it will be, and also because he quite clearly has no passion or talent, unlike JA, and is only in it for the monies, he should really stick to racing.
I don't think he has real aspirations in recording for fame or fortune, so it has come back to being a hobby. If that is the case there is no reason to compare him with JA.Lewis Hamilton has been busy recording R&B music, in a recording studio that has also been used by Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue. However, the music that he has recorded is not intended for commercial release but only for the racing driver's own amusement. According to the report, Hamilton had hired out the entirety of the expensive recording complex to ensure that nobody saw him and leaked the news to the press.
