Lotus E20 Renault

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

The front wing lower flap is interesting. I don't remember them having a split end to it at the end of last year.

What is it with teams announcing online launches and then not booking more server capacity for the day in anticipation of the flood of visitors?
I thought they were supposed to have some intelligent engineers there, you would think it would cross at least one of their minds....

A bit disappointed: nothing really new. Maybe the FW is interesting. When are they going to publish high-res pictures???

A lot should change within testing, the R30 was boring too lets give this one a little more time, I bet this car is bare for a reason.

'Nothing really new' Guys watch the vid, the whole rear bodywork is different, much tighter towards the rear, the exhasut ofc and the enginecover, together with a new floor.

I am 100% sure we will see a new front wing in the wintertests, much like the one they tried a few times last year

I am not a technical expert, but why is there only one "bump" ?

Still chunky with huge sidepod inlets. Exhaust is nothing special just a little further back than the caterham I guess.

Renault seems to think their rendition of the F10 is just too good to let go.

I like the side pods and the gold looks nicer than the cream from last year.
