A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Sorry, but where can you see, they're running a new suspension?

Most probably the mercury-hydraulic leveling system, which has been discussed briefly on this thread?

Leveling sound so crude though. Load ReDistribution Mechanism or LoRDisM[/quote]

It seems the same suspension to me. I checked some pics from last season, and I see no difference?

Perhaps it's just me, but I can visualize that deceleration-driven mercury-cylinder between the "horns" of the nose?

But how was this again, will it be legal or not, I seem to remember there was a debate over that?

That's why they went with the silver paint, so you can't detect a mercury leak.

front wing flap looks new? In any case; does anyone know how interim the car is? The nose is still the 2011 nose; how about the exhausts?

Fringe division is investigating shapeshifters. Apparently that's a copy of NR driving. He is directly linked to the suspension.

The car looks like the same old W02 we have all grown to love (or hate).

It looks like this test may just be to benchmark the tires. Perhaps there are some internal bits we cannot see.

That is the mercury rushing too far forward, that's why it is silver in that hole.
