I had left that line out of my last post think it may piss someone off,.. but it seems some share this view

The race for press clippings, was a big part of testing back in the 80's 90's, But I would have to agree that it seems to has gone by the wayside now a days. which does seem odd with so few test days in a year, that you'd think they would feel the need to do so.
But like some said here it's probably not the stuff sponsors are going to put in their corporate news letter next month

Slightly OT, but the founder of Jim Russel racing school and the driving teacher of both Gilles and Jacques was doing an "Ask Me Anything" interview today on reddit.

On the question of natural talent, there was no hesitation to say Gilles had the most. Not in raw speed, but in how quickly he picked it all up.

It goes even further than that - you could sort out contracts for single races too; and even then; you could work your way into a race-only or qualifying+race deals (i.e. not in FP)

He founded the Canadian School using Jim Russel's franchise, thus why I was talking about the Villeneuves.

This teammate match-up gets more interesting. Grosjean seems very happy with the handling of his new car, lauding it in interviews. On the other hand Kimi has complained of some steering problems and you never really hear him praise the handling as much as Grosjean does. Different driving styles? OR something else...

This one is going to be a good watch!

Grosjean will wake up from his non-stop laugh after the 1st race. Now he likes the car, he is chilling on the track making the best times in testing, but it will be another story when he will have Kobayashi, Ricciardo, Perez, Senna ready to go at his throat in the races.

Can I just say - this seems a much more positive, media-friendly Kimi. Very different from his "I was having a sh*t" days.

Yeah, his new demeanour was immediately noticeable ever since his first Lotus PR release. He must have had some people training - it really shows!

Or maybe he got older and he is glad that he returned in a more familiar competition.

Or Grosjean is just getting more out of it right now.

It´s the same team as last year ,hyping one up and treating badly the other.they had no issues whatsover to kick out heidfeld ,hyping up Senna who did eventually not deliver and axing Petrov.
If they start to play games on Kimi he will definitively give them a very open response and let´s see how Grosjean will work under that sort of boiling pot pressure.

To people who have seen him out socialising, he's always been like that. He just made a decision quite early on to give the media absolutely nothing. It's had some upsides and some downsides, but it does mean that Raikkonen is probably the most trusted driver on the grid. When he says he will never speak about something he never will.

He shouldn't have any of the political trouble he got into at Ferrari and that team has a history of producing the mechanically strong cars he likes, but like marcush I still have many misgivings about that team.

Politcal trouble? Ferrari had a very good reason for firing him. There was no synergy between the two - and everybody knows Ferrari is all about fiery emotion.

They did not match Kimi, and Kimi did not match them. A mismatch. No one was to blame.

We might get to a conclusion in a few years as to who was at fault if Raikkonen is still Ferrari's last World Champion..............
