DTM Rotate their safety cars each year.

Mercedes were supposed to be last year, however they allowed Audi to keep a R8 and go to a everything new ideal for 2012 with their new DTM 2012 car. BMW next year i think.

Couldnt hear the merc SLS at the first cruve at shanghai, when the cars were on the grid.

Getting something naughty, I think a Ferrari fxx, McLaren f1, 1994 Williams f1 car or even a Zonda

A Pagani Zonda R wouldn't be a bad idea. I mean the car cannot be used on the road, it can't be raced either. A good use would be as Safety Car in F1. It is Mercedes-powered as well

I haven't heard the safety car much at regular tracks. But in Monaco/Singapore - the sound ricochets off the buildings. Absolutely mega.

Also, is it too much to ask for this as a safety car?
