Frankly, I don't know that it really matters. Tomorrow's shaping up to be one hell of a tire lottery.
Ferrari have with the option tyres some problems, but with the prime they show good longrun times.

Well last year he started 4th but was 1st in T1.

This time he starts 3rd....so i guess he´ll lap the field before entering T1 this time.

After he's accident Felipe doesn't found the confidence to drive with risk.
I don´t buy that. He got a spring in his head. A freak accident.
Are you assuming he´s running around looking to not get hit in the head with a spring?

Yes he has problems with the car, as he´s had since 2009.
Has nothing to do with getting a spring on his head.

Actually their runs in FP didn't look very promising.

I agree, but it's not just the accident
Anyway, despite the final place, Massa's pace wasn't that bad today. He said he found a lot of traffic, loosing something like 3/10. ...ok in any case he's not as fast as his teammate (who is a a real champion) but nor dramatically slow

Seems like the new parts have worked

As much as it is nice, quali doesn't mean much anymore unless you're in P1.
Alonso Will be P1 after turn1!!!

Really? Perhaps you are mistaking Ferrari runs with the awful Merc Runs?

Sorry but, out-performed who? Quali is meaningless: RB and Merc hardly chose to run.

Let the race do the talking.

I dont care how you look at it. The past races have seen them in 5,6 or further back...and even chosing to not run. Jenson and webber didnt even make it out of Q2. Michael, Kobayashi and Vettel didnt turn a lap in Q3 (because it wasnt worth it. Not because they have a better option). I'd say Ferrari earned that 3rd place. Now you should also go post in the Williams thread about how Maldonado's 2nd is due to other just not running as well.

Ferrari's upgrades work and they work well. period.

The upgrades did not work well if Massa is in 17th. Assuming Massa's qualifying session was normal, this is too big a spread between teammates.

How long will Massa keep his seat, things continue to get worse for him. He looked totally dejected after Q2.

I think the updates have just corrected major deficiencies. Now the car is being proven as not all wrong. Time will tell still. This is positive but for the team but it should only be the beginning.
