Massa's not doing himself any favors, but he got hosed today with that penalty.
that's true but even without the penalty i don't think he would have done any better than 10th...

It's clear the updates on the car are working. Leave it to other teams fans to want to spend time in the F2012 thread now that we out-performed their teams car thus far.
Sorry but, out-performed who? Quali is meaningless: RB and Merc hardly chose to run.

Let the race do the talking.
So now that the race is over, what say you?
Like I said "Let the race do the talking", congratulations to Fernando and Ferrari. But did you expect Williams to be ahead of Ferrari? I don't think so.

Tbh I don't think anyone knows of a real pecking order. Ferrari have made a step forward for sure (in fixing fundamental problems). But just how big? It keeps alternating every weekend.

Great quote from Alonso: "We were 57 seconds behind Vettel in Bahrain, and we were lapping Webber here. No one understands probably. Not us either.”

I don't dig this tire lottery stuff, but, IMHO it favors Alonso's ability to maximize each race and get all of whatever is available.

I love that quote. This season has taken on the patina of an episode of "Seinfeld."

Typical of people like yourself. You act as though Williams only beat Ferrari today. Did you expect Williams to completely dominate Mercedes? I mean Rosberg was 77+ seconds behind Maldonado. That's a lot worse than Fernando's 3+ seconds. Again, rival fans trying to diminish what Ferrari accomplished by acting as though we were the only ones Williams was ahead of.

Agreed. It's like Formula Random not Formula One. Crazy season with no clear leading car or leading team. Works out better for us and gives us even more time to sort the car. :D

Why don't you stop trying to jump to conclusions? I just congratulated Ferrari, or are you blind, or is that how you want to read it? 8)

Alonso was ahead of Maldonaldo (for half the race), did you expect him to end up back infront and hold his own to win the race? No you did not. You just like everyone else predicted him to fall behind straight away, don't bother denying that.

Irrelevant, you completely missed my point as usual. Nothing new pal.

I don´t think anyone expected him to fall back, we knew the car and him was stupid quick here.

He can literrally sit on a donkey and make it run faster than an F1 car, atleast faster than Massa's F2012. Even the donkey would be surprised how it ran so fast.

On a serious note, how on earth did he lapped Massa?

You knew before Saturday did you? Yeah yeah  .

We all knew they were good on tyres, nobody predicted front-running pace.

Problem is, when its "sorted" maybe it wont be so agreeable with the Pirelli tyre....
Meaning 1 step forward 2 steps back?
The whole Williams winning things is a bolt from the blue, the trounced everyone.
It would be the same for Barcelona to lose to Southampton on merit over 2 legs.
More could have been done.
