Sure enough, I've found the perfect fit per your requirements X; Sergio Perez. Similar height, perfect nationality to market Santander in latin America. And not to mention the stupendous driving history.

that´s not so obvious. Vettel sits as high as it gets it seems.

And i don´t think RBR tailored their car for Webber and not their own 2 time world champion.

Sounds plausible enough mx, but what's on offer for the Italian market nowadays to please Ferrari as well?

Anything with two legs and two arms not called Massa?

Thread clean up underway. If you've been here long enough you'll know where to find the posts. We can't do this every time something about Alonso and teammates comes up (what's that saying about beating a horse?)

Yes, you´re correct but in that case I´m afraid there is some more cleaning to be done...

Alonso is taller and heavier than Massa, so I really don't see a problem here for Massa, except for the cockpit probably being a bit larger, with the emphasis on "a bit". Everything else can be adjusted.
So if they decide to replace Massa, they have a small weight/size buffer.

If D'Ambrosio will replace Massa for the reminder of this season (which I doubt), I'll hope they'll paint his car yellow for the Belgian GP.
Yellow, racing color of Belgium and ferrari ran a 156 on spa in that color.

I had an 89 LBT. Blew a brake line and I sold it as I had another car waiting for me.

I regret that decision to this day. I WILL own another one.

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

Yes indeed it's an old Ferrari. Here is the first picture Fernando posted about his new Monaco design helmet in the initial design phase. Interestingly, Fernando has changed his helmet designer this year. His helmet livery is now designed and painted by Jens Münser Designs for 2012, the same company that creates Vettel's fancy designs.

Montezemolo to the Scuderia: “The Championship is in our own hands”

Maranello, 21 May – “The Championship is in our own hands.” Luca di Montezemolo chose to give the Scuderia a boost and a show of confidence through a personal letter addressed to all the staff, on the eve of the team’s departure for the Monaco Grand Prix.

“The championship is very open and so far, there has not been one dominant force,” wrote the Ferrari President. “A series of circumstances and the work done here to improve the car, as well as Alonso’s great ability, has led to us leading the Championship after five rounds. We must capitalize on that, with each one of us giving our very best at home and at the race track, including Massa who must bring home the results we expect from him.

“I know from Domenicali, with whom I am in constant contact, how hard all of you are working,” continues the letter. “Of this I am sure, also because winning the Championship depends only and exclusively on ourselves: on our ability, our creativity, our determination and our desire to show that we are the best.”

Having said that, this guy has had a strange impact on myself, perhaps it was breaking MS' winning streak in 2005 or his no-nonsense attitude at McLaren, refusing to accept a rookie as an equal number one?

Either way, he's one great driver.
I think Alonso can handle a decent rivalry in the team unlike his Mclaren years. I was not a big fan of Alonso until his second Renault period as a Ferrari and Schumacher fan. I think something changed in him and he became complete driver after those weak years of Renault in some way. Maybe he is more matured and down to earth now. We are now watching Hamilton transforming in the same direction and maybe Vettel is next, maybe not.

Could this thread be renamed to "Scuderia Ferrari 2012" without the "- not the car!"? It will fit better with the rest of the threads.
