70lk Euro?! That is a lot of money over the RS3.....
Yes... that'd be absurd. Although that site is largely reporting rumor as established fact.

As one of those really lucky ones who is already driven in one, I can say:

Wait and be excited to drive a car with 4WD, ~350hp, racestart (5500rpm full boost start) , >280kph max speed, a great fast shifting DCT (perfect working intermediate throttle application on downshifts and nice misfire sounds on upshifts) and...

a perfect handling, steering and suspension wise. (Went >1g lateral acceleration easily!)

Interior and Exterior is a dream!!

Unfortunately I don´t know anything about the price but a AMuS is telling a start from 50k NOT 70k.

Just needs some modifications to be perfect:

And please a timeattack version of the coupé:

Why in the world would you rice out a German car? Especially one of special nature such as this. I'm not one to usually stick my neck out for Mercedes, but this occasion merits it.

1. I'm awefully jealous
2. Please tell me you're joking...

No joke at all!! seriously!!

If the 280kph will find its way to the "standard" costumer... idk.
maybe it´s limited to the standard 250kph

Someone has been watching too many Fast & Furious movies.

Mercedes-Benz's are supposed to look Teutonic, not Asian. You're pouring sugar on a savory dish. Use salt instead.

Yes, I too lamented the lack of a red, labeled, tow loop on the front bumper.

I´ll take the beemer any day of the week. And it´s not even a proper M car.
The merc looks like a mini-bus that´s been in a pressure chamber.

It's a beautiful car in my opinion, but the VW Golf is a legend.

Even though the GTI smoked it? You must be quite the BMW fan. Many props. :)

I'd go Merc > VW > BMW. I'm not a fan of how the BMW looks; the VW and Merc, both look better to me. Unfortunately we're not going to have the A-Class in the states, but we will have CLA and GLA. :)

I think if you should discuss the performance of the cars a slightly more scientific test would be nice.
Like some laptimes around a track ;)

I don´t think the new golf is three seconds quicker then it´s older brother.
