I like JV believe that the E20 is the best car because it is at least second row qualifying in every race and it can have this capability while still running a tyre friendly setup.

Disagreed. It isnt the fastest car, it is the most constant car. It is the only car on the grid that hasnt won the race, while constantly being in the top 5 as the only car doing so. And that while everyone around them has at least won one race. It is the most constant car, not the fastest

Could this be because the team is not taking an aggressive approach to winning? Their setups have a more forgiving operating window at the the expense of ultimate performance that is required to beat the one or two other teams that get 'lucky' and hit the setup perfectly for a given race weekend.

I didn't say it was the fastest.. I think it is the BEST. Looking at the details it could have podiumed every single race. Including Malaysia!

Lotus stuff was unusually hiding front of the car yesterday. They have some updates mainly for qualification speed.

From Lotus GP:
"A host of alterations to both E20s were on show as the garage shutters rolled up, including floor, rear suspension and steering tweaks for Kimi and a new front wing for Romain."
