Dark Horse For Silverstone GP

Post

Remember it could be dry, mixed or torrential wet.

Shame on me, I spelled Hülkenberg and Ricciardo wrong.

I think we got a good chance of a mixed bag of changeable conditions .with Schumachers string of misfortunes now left behind we can expect him to shine every weekend ..he needs to make up lost ground now so only a win will do.

I'm a new borne Grosjean-fan so I'm going with him. I wouldn't mind Schumi winning neither. As long as Hamilton doesn't win, I'm happy
"There is a credit card with the Ferrari logo, issued by Santander, which gives the scuderia a % of purchases made with the card...

I would guess that such a serious amount of money would allow them to ignore the constant complains of a car that was nowhere near as bad as their #1 driver tried to sell throughout the season.

Heck, a car on which Massa finishes in the podium or has to lift so that his teammate finishes ahead (As we saw often in the final races of the year) is, by no means, a "bad" car."

I would put my money on Perez as a dark horse for Silverstone. his best result last year was there and both he and his car are better this year.

I thought about including Grosjean in the poll but in my opinion he shines already pretty much, a triumph at Silverstone would not be a big surprise (to me).

Are they dark horses, or have we become so much focused on the top handful of drivers that casual complacency makes it difficult to believe that anything can happen on any day? Who in their right mind would have thought that Maldonado would dominate Barcelona, or Rosberg would stink up China?

How's this? Senna?
Racing should be decided on the track, not the court room.

I voted for Felipe Baby! He could bring home the bacon if it's dry. 8) 8)

If it's going to be a decent full-wet race throughout... I'm hoping for a Schumi win!

I voted Kobayashi because, dammit, I want him to win SOMETHING. :(

As much as I agree with the top part..

Senna just isn't good enough, which is a shame, I really wanted him to be like his uncle and just be quick in anything at any time. Instead he seems to lack the "Killer instinct" and just quietly potters around, or hits something.

No one thinks that DTM-wet-champion DiResta could be the lucky man on the presumably wet weekend?

Pretty much my sentiments as well.

I don't get why he can't turn in a decent qualifying performance.

I voted for Kobayashi. He has done well at Silverstone since his first year at Sauber, and he says he likes the track. Last week he qualified well and I think that if he can stay out of trouble, he could finish on the podium, or maybe 4th or 5th again. The chassis is certainly capable, and I think that Kamui is too.
