Formula 2 video - Amazing reaction

Post

Hi, since this is my first post, I wanted to contribute with something cool. I came across this youtube video of Formula 2 driver Dino Zamparelli at Spa!

http://youtu.be/HDQatnFUA3E

I think the guy's twitter account is @dinozamparelli or something (from what I can see at the video).

Hope you guys like it

Passing off course, under yellows. Shameful.

To be fair, the first yellow was probably for the car on the inside grass at eau rouge? and the only other yellow I saw was at the kink on kemmel, and he appears to lift once he passes it. No matter how you cut it, very quick reflexes!

At this speed I think you concentrate more on trying to watch something in front of you through the water spray than watching on the side of the track. Ok you need to do this when you're approaching the corner to get your visual point on where to brake but in this section there is no need to watch on the side of the track.

There is a yellow light (0:18) but can you really see it in these conditions ? If he saw it then yes its quite dangerous not to reduce the speed more than that. Anyway his reflexes are really amazing ! Luck counts for a lot too, but still ! Great car control. :)

I remember watching an F2 race last year and there was a car crashing into another under yellows. I remember the commentators spoke about there are no lights on the steering wheel i.e yellow for yellow flags, red for red etc. And it can cause drivers problems.

I guess that's still the case...and obviously a dangerous problem
