I'm looking to see if I can find any rules regarding that.

Did see that the 2007 Monaco GP had 619 trackside staff in place.

43 Intervention Chiefs, 80 firemen, and 13 other staff.

The rest were various marshals.

I can't even fathom how many you would need for the Nordschleife now.

But Monaco must be some extreme case right? Due to the nature of the track?
That was way more then i expected :)
Will be interesting to see what you find.

Tilke just looking at the ring is a bad thing, let alone letting him touch it.

I haven't been able to find anything. I was going to email the FIA, but the only email address on their website is for the website administrator. Something tells me if they had any actual contact email, they would get hate mail, of the likes which they have never seen.

I'll try something else since making an overseas phone call on my end is not happening.

He does, and apparently enjoys the Nordschleife quite a bit from what I have been told.

However, for a guy who likes a track as epic as that, he has no idea how to design a halfway decent one. All of his designs are utter crap, and the most imaginatively devoid race tracks I have ever seen.

None of his track designs will ever be considered classic by any stretch of the imagination.

Great documentary about Bernie for those who wants to know more about him.

One fun fact was that he was a business man even in Kinder Garden.
Buying cookies from the store then selling it on the yard.

And not only that but he figured out very early you needed protection so he paid the bigger guys some money to keep his money safe :)

And by the looks of it, probably bribed the teachers to look the other way
