I have 1:18 scale diecasts of 3 of Alonso's cars, The McClaren, Then the ferrari F10, and F150. My question is: When should I expect a 1:18 scale of the F2012 to come out? I can't find one anywhere on the internet yet. I have the 1:18 F150 on my Computer desk infront of my signed & framed Mount of Alonso's win in Malaysia. I would really like to get the F2012 to put with the mount. I got the F150 about mid-season last year (it was the launch model) So, does anyone know around when we all could expect the 2012 cars to be released as 1:18 scale diecasts?

I figured it would be after the season was over. I was just confused because I was able to buy the F150 italia mid season last year, well maybe a little after mid season (there were 3-4 races left, so it was after summer break). Although, it is the version of the 150 italia that was at the pre-season launch that may have had something to do with how early I received it. It's extremely high quality and the attention to detail is amazing (all the way down to the paths from the exhaust to the blown diffuser). I was just hoping I could come across a launch version of the F2012. Now that I think about it though I may want to get the version he won with in Malaysia or some race that had similar body work. I only paid about $120 U.S. Dollars each for my 3 diecasts models.

I have the MP4-22, The F10, and the F150 italia. All are Alonso. I have been a fan of his since his Minardi days. Strad you are right though. Good things come to those who wait.

I'd love one of these: https://www.mclarenshop.com/webapp/wcs/ ... 659_AMC001
but £2999 is a lot of money to drop on a model. I saw one once in a shop and it was beautiful. Sooooo tempted - credit card was shouting at me. Luckily SWMBO shouts loudly too!
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
I have the Mercedes Schumac her BGP001 Showcar in 1:18 as well as about twenty or twenty-five 1:43 models from F1, LMP1 and Road Cars.
I dont really specialise, i get the ones i want when i can get them in sales and the likes for cheap. Im trying to get at least one from every team past and present where i can. Im not fussy if its Spark, Minichamps or any other wuality 1:43 manufacturer.
How ever i also have 4 London 2010 models as well, 3 sporting figurines and the Olympic Stadium.
I do have the Damon Hill Jordan's and his championship winning Williams, I also have Schumacher f2004 and hill's Jordan GP car in 1:43, oh and Bruno senna in the 97T in 1:43,
but I have always wanted Senna in the 98T in 1:18 scale as a model, but they cost like £120!!

Words can't describe how I would love to have that. It'd be even better if it were a ferrari.

Got about 14 1:18s from CMC and Exoto, but lately I have taken up driving myself crazy trying to build my own from Tamiya and Hasegawa but damn, I'm old and they just don't come out perfect...very frustrating. It was much easier when I was 13.
