Engine overrun, mixture igniting after it leaves the chamber.

I tried hard to find the thunderclaps that the V10 on Mansell''s Williams did on upshift with no success. That was effin awesome and the most unforgettable thing from being sat right in the beginning of the start/finish straight at Interlagos. Even rooting against him and all that.

I saw a comment on that video that says "A plane flying from London to Japan puts out more exhaust fumes than the F1 cars do for the entire race weekend. Why can't we leave the engines the hell ALONE!!" lol. I think i'm going to be adding that quote to my signature...

IIRC McLaren used blown exhausts up to 2003.
