I personally think Perez is over-rated and don't think he's matured enough for Ferrari yet. He needs to show a bit more. I'd take Rosberg over him; but where would Massa go? Hmm.smellybeard wrote:Massa never really recovered form his injury and if he still enjoys F1 he should take what drive he can. This makes me think Merc are not targeting Hamilton after all. Perhaps in the future."We want to be a team that every driver wants to drive for."
Ferrari do tend to take young drivers when they seem just a teensy bit too young and inexperienced but it often works out. Maybe it's a good place to work!zyphro wrote:I personally think Perez is over-rated and don't think he's matured enough for Ferrari yet. He needs to show a bit more.
what? thats exactly opposite to how Ferrari hires driverssmellybeard wrote:Ferrari do tend to take young drivers when they seem just a teensy bit too young and inexperienced but it often works out. Inexperienced? Since when?smellybeard wrote:Ferrari do tend to take young drivers when they seem just a teensy bit too young and inexperienced but it often works out. Since Villeneuve? Probably before that even. They don't often take on 'inexperienced' drivers but they do take a punt on the odd one. Yeah, Mick and Alonso were well proven champions before they got to Ferrari but Fast Eddie and Massa had only two or three seasons each.zyphro wrote:Inexperienced? Since when?
Hulkenburg, like some other young germans, is well financed and well managed. Riding on the Schuey effect, they've done better than others of their generation. This shouldn't be confused with talent.Websta wrote:If the Hulkenburg rumours are true, I think Perez can say goodbye to that Ferrari drive. Hulkenburg will be there for a while, he has a lot of talent and potential.

I don't expect to ever see Kubica in an F1 car again, sadly.marcush. wrote:Kubica back ? that would really be awesome .he really deserves a proper second chancefighting back from that setback..
Would he even be eligible for a superlicense these days? wait..Schumacher was away for a lot longer...so it should not be a problem.
