Red Bull engine deal

Post

It is very satisfy when I read that Red Bull will use the Renault power plant next year to run their next racing car. Newey's latest design will suit well with that engine, I gureanteed. Forget about Ferrari deal because they will not help at any level on engine deal. I'm also happy if Red Bull make an engine deal with Cosworth. Stop being a Ferrari's partner. It will only waste a resouce and time. I hope Red Bull will succes in next year and Mark Webber and Coulthard could we see as regular podium finish.

I think the bulls will be better next year with both Renault and Newey on the team. Sounds like Saam is doubtful, again, we'll have to see.

For the record: - none of the teams in F1 history supplied with Ferrari engines ever won a race.

Dallara Ferrari, Minardi Ferrari, Sauber Ferrari and Red Bull Ferrari never won a race.

When it matters Renault situation is different: - Lotus won races, Williams won 5 WCC and 4 WDC, Benetton won 1 WDC and WCC.

Newey chassis + Renault engine = 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997 WCC

i dont see why they cant just pull some shady legal manuever to get out of the dumb ferrari contract. Have some other red bull subsidiary buy out the red bull team for 1 dollar, no wait 1 yen, and keep all personnel and property as is. basically the same thing that happened with jaguar, allowing them to use their chassis for RB's 1st year
