And what if McLaren wasnt ran by Middle School Girls who just want to start rumours just to see what if....

I'm pretty sure McLaren is just getting ready for JUST in case Hamilton leaves..
I would prepare ,i would also like to See Perez stay. Now that's probably going to happen. The fact is McLaren is now having to be prepared for A possible Hamilton switch. I hope Perez stays as he is a great driver nd he's given Sauber a great season specially after the 2010 season Perez is very much welcomed at Sauber..

Well I hope McLaren keep Hamilton as like everyone else I see Hamilton leaving as a VERY Dumb move.
Hamilton should stay!!

I think Lewis is looking at Lotus. For several reasons.

1. It is a fast car, possibly the fastest one out there. With two drivers (Kimi & Grosjean) just being back in F1, I dont think theyve got everything out of the car, yet! If we would have seen Lewis or Alonso in this years Lotus, I think we would have seen a few victories already.

2. Lotus targets the championship in a few years time. Look at the step theyve made from last years to this years championship. (Might have been the exhausts fault that they struggled after a few races in 2011)

Starting negotiation with another driver makes sense because it not only gives them another option, but also can be used as leverage in negotiations with Hamilton's troupe, showing they are not bluffing and really are prepared to let him go if they are not happy with proposed terms.

This same news resurfaced on speed.com

Perez being talked to by McLAren they too think McLaren is just getting ready for just in case nd to pressure Hamilton...
Makes sence you watch you're back nd pressure Hamilton.

And Hamilton at Lotus with Kimi......
Oh wow.... Yeah I can see that with Grosjean sukking randomly making mistakes nd he's 32? Last I read in an Article... That to me seems like an unfit driver.. At that age making GP2 rookie mistakes. (Maldonado too) But I see Mercedes as more possible...
In the New Engine Era Mercedes might edge everyone out or Lotus Renault or Ferrari..... Or who know an outside Engine supplier might show up and have the best engine and a team like HRT might become a force to be feared..

No but seriously I wanna see how this plays out already..

Grosjean is most certainly not 32 mate lol. A simple googling would yield the correct answer don't you think  (26)

That is probably in my top 3 "Most dumbest things I have ever read on this forum".

Hamilton-Lotus move - I don't see it happen, not at all. I am ready to put my money down that even with more than 2-3 crashes or stupid moves, we will see Grosjean next year alongside Kimi. Grosjean IS good (maybe better than Maldonado), but he just needs to sort his head out and learn from Kimi god damn it, he has him in front of his eyes.

My prediction is that Hamilton will leave from McLaren. It might appear a dumb move, but I sence that there are some tensions gathered around there that are becoming or will be impossible to bear. Ithink that they have this good results with him now because they nailed it with the car.
As Brawn recently said, it is better to stay with a team that builds and develops its own engines in 2014 rather than in a customer team, at least for the first 1-2 years after the implementation of the new engines.

After you wrote that I did some research and realized my mistake. I sincerley appologies for that. I was put off by its name and the colors and assumed it was todays Lotus F1 team. Im also not that in tune with history of F1. But again, Im man enough to admit my mistakes and appologies for them. Sorry!

I heard that too.

Interesting choice of words from Mr Whitmarsh.

Get out of McLaren while you can Lewis. You haven't put a foot wrong this season, but with all the --- ups McLaren has taken away nearly 70 points away from you. You need to look at the history and ask yourself why McLaren have won only one championship in the last decade.

Massive respect for Button. He came to Martin and said something along the lines of "don´t worry i know what i need to do"

Basically acknowledging that he´s out and if he gets a chance to help Lewis, he will.
Impressive that he initiated this conversation.

Paddy Lowe has said 2013 car will be designed for Hamilton.

Does that mean Button had more say in this car? I know they rely on him for developing the car.

If you read the whole thing, the headline is a sensationalised version of the story. Basically Paddy Lowe is designing for both drivers - he's just saying that he's not designing a Button-only car (in response to the Hamilton to Mercedes rumors)
