I reed this differntly.Alonso says Massa should only be replaced by a stronger driver ,and he does not really see the ones on the -ferrari list as stronger performers than massa.Nando wrote:He just said as well that if Massa leaves then they need to find a stronger driver then Massa.

I think that's a poor idea. Understandable that Heikki would want to go to another team. He's been driving really hard but the car just hasn't improved as much as it ought to. However, switching to a completely new lineup means that there's no continuity regarding performance, data, and team dynamics. The only team that's worked for is Lotus, but Grosjean has driven for old Lotus, Kimi is a solid driver and former WDC, and Lotus has a pretty solid car. However this will result in a new lineup at Caterham with Buemi and Van Der Garde. Van Der Garde is widley tipped to take a seat for at leat 4 of the next 6 GP and at least 2 of the 3 days at Abu Dhabi for Caterhams Young Driver Test. Alex Rossi will most probably take the last of the 3 days at Abu Dhabi and posibly a GP at Austin, or a FP1 session at least.

It´s not at all saying massa is weak.
That doesn´t automatically mean Massa is weak. It would have been different if i had said, they needed to find a strong driver.
