or maybe its right.... if he wants to continue probably he will announce by now that he's in negotiation with other teams. (but there isn't any credible source)
Will be like monza 2006 .... but i hope with same result.

JACKSONVILLE wrote:Look. I'm really disgusted with the way Mercedes have treated Michael Schumacher, they clearly used his name to gain sponsors and big money etc as they need that exposure for the first couple of years. But they should be ashamed of themselves big time for this disgusting and vile treatment of schumacher, it comes across as very, very back stabbing and vindictive behavior.

This muppet Dieter Zetsche should be ashamed of himself, he has the audacity to spew nonsense about schummi "not hitting targets" come on now looooool. Who in their right minds could honestly believe that piece of junk Michael has been given for three years could win a race or regularly get on the podium   . Scumacher has actually gone up in my estimation I have always admired him but the way he has handled this humiliation. He deserves a pat on the back because in all honestly I would have taken this humiliation very badly lol. He has basically been dumped in favor of the little cry baby hamilton that has to hurt really badly   .

I don't know how Schumacher can even show his face in the next six races that will be so hard in my opinion knowing everyone is talking about you laughing wow    . THE HUMILIATION IS TO MUCH in my opinion i would not turn up
The published words of Zetsche have gone wrong in translation methinks. the german wording avoids very much to put the blame at his door but always speaks about "we" as the team or organisation. There is no single hint Mercedes would not have renewed his contract if Schumacher had wanted this.Of course he also avoids the humilation of admitting Schumacher
just did not want to continue with THEM -but still would like to go racing ...

I don´t think you could lure Schumacher with money .He has plenty of that...just look at the Registration of the plane
M-IKEL and you know money does not feature high on his agenda any longer..

I think Michael wants to be felt wanted by the team , with their recent action they undermined this .And I´m sure he would not have signed even when the Hamilton deal was not taking off.

I read the article and it seems they're just predicting. If he is going to retire, he will announce it and probably announce his future plans to his fans. If you read, there is nothing related to that in that evil-mean article of theirs.

They're just headline spinning so they can claim they published it first. If he announces something different they will simply print a "Schumacher does a U turn on retirement!!!" story.

Just journalists looking for attention.

Lauda said that he visited the factory at Brackley and has seen things that need to be changed. Wonder if this is just PR gibberish, but I really hope that he can help to get the team back on track. Apparently they have also kicked out some engineers and a new wind tunnel is being built. Also Laudo was involved putting up the Hamilton deal.

I can't see how Hamilton is going to help build that team. I was a big fan of his, till he started being a proper prat. He showed up Alonso who now continues too show how an unsporting he really is but Hamilton seems to have followed him down the same path.
If things don't go Hammies way he is going to throw his toys big time. poor Britney.
Mercedes now seems to be a collection of underachievers with the possible exception of Bell. However Lotus don't seem to be worse off without him so how good was he really...?
Ferrari doing better without Costa.
RedBull doing better without Willis
Lotus overachieving without Bell..

? new windtunnel? their 100% tunnel was only ready in 2006/7 and it was concptualised under Willis ..and they started only this year in September to use the size of it switching to 60% model size... Frankly I don´t believe this.

Sabine Kehm ,Schumachers PR lady for a big part of his career has stated today :Michael is certainly not without options and wanted to wait for MGPs development and PERSPECTIVES for the near future....
Ouch that in other word tells the true story -Schumacher has lost faith in MGP.

In a somewhat surprising shift of interests, Luca di Montezemolo has suggested today during a meeting with journalist that Michael Schumacher has already signed a contract to rejoin the Scuderia Ferrari from 2013 on. The seven-times World Champion current deal with Mercedes AMG runs out at the end of 2012 and the German has apparentlyy been lured back to Maranello with a salary of around 14 million Euros, the double of what he’s currently receiveing at Mercedes. Schumacher’s Manager Sabine Kehm wasn’t prepared to comment on the new deal.

Source? This is big news so we would have read it EVERYWHERE if it happened. I remain sceptical and think that Sauber is a more realistic option.

that would explain the very pissed Alonso on last sunday.

edit: source for the pissed Alonso is automotorundsport, they speculated that ALO was pissed beause DiResta (or Hulkenberg) had signed for 2013.

darn..did not see that coming...
Alonso -Schumacher that must be the ultimate pairing for 2013...and certainly a bigger story than Hamilton at MGP...
Mediavise a total disaster for Daimler.

Even Merc didn't see that coming if that's true  Does that mean Ferrari will have the strongest driver line-up for 2013?

I find this predictable and logical, however do not want to hit the roof with excitement by believing it

My uncertainties are both whether they would take him back after he left (although he did need a drive) and will they take a 43 year old? Besides is it believable that mike could replace massa?
