Yeah, feels the same. The problem is that there are no chance to have the same passion what I feel when I see Michael on track.

I will probably follow the Mercedes line, especially following Lewis, as I think he is one of the drivers who could give you the same feeling when you cheer for him. Of course you can't compare Michael to anyone, but definitely I will see Lewis' future successes as part of Michael's unfinished business.

14 April Round 1 6 Hours of Silverstone GBR
04 May Round 2 WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps BEL
22/23 June Round 3 24 Heures du Mans FRA
31 August Round 4 6 Hours of Sao Paulo BRA
22 September Round 5 6 Hours of Austin * USA
20 October Round 6 6 Hours of Fuji JPN
10 November Round 7 6 Hours of Shanghai * CHN
30 November Round 8 6 Hours of Bahrain BAH
or maybe in MotoGP alongside Rossi (this would be the most spectacular couple in history) but even a dream like this is impossible.
I think in next few months will take a long vacation..... maybe if he go in DTM and perform there he will comeback in 2014 at Mercedes if Nico leave (i like to dream)

Same here. For me F1 used to be Schumacher until he retired (2006). Lets hope we get to see him on the podium at least once.

=D> Great news to my ears. He has been a charity case since he signed with Mercedes. Three years wasted getting up to speed and still not bringing home the points. He really had no other options.

This news is not a big surprise. Michael has done enough and driving just to collect the highest number of F1 starts has no appeal to him. I wish him well for the last six races. A great man and an honourable decision. =D>

In one word: sad :(

So maybe a maximum of one year to follow F1 now, 2014 will make it Gp2², so not worth it -.-

Mercedes definitely won't be on my radar next year, maybe I'll support Sauber and Kimi and then switch my motorsport interest to some real racing after 2013-> Le Mans

One good thing is, I'll have free Saturdays and Sundays :D Thanks Michael.

There's also Ralfie...

I'm not a fan of Schumi, but I appreciate what he gave to motorsport. Him and Senna (from my years of watching F1) had this unmatched drive to succeed.

He had his mistakes and wrongdoings, but whether we like it or not they were part of the game.

Not as talented as his brother, true. But nobody else was since 94.

This is SAD! but true...

I have followed Michaels career wich has been an fantastic story! This will go down in history and I'm glad to have experienced this.

I respect his decision and i hope his hard work with Mercedes will help them. Otherwise this 3 year was a waste of time for him.

The only option i think he had was Ferrari but they have problems too and Alonso is fighting over the limit all the time. I think Michael will be remembered with a fast Red car.....

Michael, Thanks for all the years of great racing and excitement for us fans. I wish you luck in the future!

Over and out.... =D> =D> =D>

Right decision. Clear to see he is no longer at the top of his game.

Much respect and best wishes.
