you might not be aware of it..de cesaris was also blindingly quick at least at the start of his Formula 1 career...but certainly a bit too eager and sometimes he had problems to keep concentration..
He had also sort of a disability -being hypernervous -his eyes rolling back so you could only see the white at times.everyone said it did not happen during races ,but sometimes you wondered .
In his later days he was a safe hand he actually competed in a lot of GPs and bagged points ....
I say for ever body part/component he destroys, the team force him to repair it, or make a new one. That should keep him out of the car and in the shop for about 6 months.
Well how about this: Let's execute him ! It'll not only prevent F1 racers from getting Grosjean'd, but also road drivers !
Are you guys for real ? Trying to be funny or what lol. The guy has proven he is quick. For raw pace imho he is at least better than Button and Webber. A driver of this calibre you just don't kick. He is just a bit unlucky. It's all a chain reaction, he made a few mistakes at the start of the season and I think he let them get to him. The race ban didn't help either, it might've caused him to be extra nervous and contribute to today's blunder. FWIW I think he just needs to relax.
This will pass you'll see. This time last year people were calling for Hamilton's head. Look how he's bounced back this season

Yuji Ide at Super Aguri had his licence revoked a few years back, similar situation really.
He's proved he isn't learning anything, the penalties don't make any difference. I can't get my head around today's crash. If you look, Webber doesn't appear to brake that early really. Relative to Grosjean, everyone starts to slow down, he just... doesn't
I really wasn't a fan of his when he was at Renault. This year, he momentarily impressed me, but now he's not coming off the $hit list.
Are you for real? Wiping out cars left and right is okay because he's nervous? If he's that nervous, he doesn't need to be out on track. As Webber said, how can you make the same mistake over and over again? I don't give a --- how quick he is, there is no excuse for taking out car after car every few races. If he needs time to calm down, send his stupid ass back to GP2 where he can learn how to be calm on the racetrack. That's what lower catagories are for anyway, to weed out the idiots and fix bad habits.
And people said Kimi was going to be surprised by him and his so called speed. I think the only thing Kimi is surprised of is the fact that he hasn't rammed him yet.
Im in aggreement with those who say he needs to go home for a few weeks, watch a few races in TV from wherever he lives to feel the hurt.
Yes he is quick, but the fact that he makes theese mistakes so often says theres something wrong with him to me.
At starts he is seeing the red mist, and this isnt something you want at a start. He needs to cool down and almost make a satisfactory start where he keeps his place.
Im giving him one more race, then if he dosnt get it right, take a early winter holiday. If he does, he isnt allowed a mistake for the rest of the season as the pressure is really on him. Next season, if he survives, will be where he is given the first 8 GPs before being scrapped, unless theres a markeable improvement.
So... We come back full circle to decapitating him ? What do you suggest they do about him ? I'll admit, have him start all of the remaining 5 races from the pit lane isn't really a bad idea. But he already knows the situation, penalising him further won't fix anything IMHO.

Well, where do you draw the line? Do you wait until he takes out a few more cars? I'm genuinely asking. If he cause one more incident? Two more? Three more? What does he have to do to be demoted to another championship?
What happened today could have happened to anyone. Spa and Monaco can be used as an example of an inexperienced driver, meaning, a driver that cannot think calmly. Spacial awareness i think should be used only in those cases that are commented. In my opinion to do fast laps in Quali, you need spacial awareness, otherwise you cant imagine in your had the braking and accelerating points. So in opinion he is driving fast laps in Quali, so he has a good spacial awareness. But, when used as in cases such as Monaco and Spa, end when i say used, i mean Brundle in Sky. Mostly it's there that i hear mentioning of his problem with spacial awareness. I might have also read it here in forums, though i cant cite. Anyways, to make the simple opinion complicated, i THINK HE IS A CHAMPION! Well not exactly, but a driver of Sebastian Vettel(no nicks) yes. No i'm not saying the he would be world champion, i'm saying that he has the same SPEED(whatever that is, to me its a simplistic word to explain something in F1), what is more worrying to me is something Brundle also mentioned, i'm paraphrasing: he just doesn't have the instinct. He was implying to the nature of man, to the physical dispositions of man, which, if not present, cannot be gained, something that Grosjain just doesn't have. I'm just wondering is it possible to have 20 failed starts in a career of 300 races. From which, 9 happened in your first year in. I'm just wondering is that possible, if yes, than he'll be a FAST driver, i like him.
Well I think honestly Maldonado has made more mistakes (and worse) deserving a race ban, but he got lucky and didn't get caught up in a pile up invloving Alonso and Hamilton. He's also been flying under the radar lately. People were calling for his head earlier in the season - where did the line get drawn and all of a sudden he's been forgotten ?
I think they won't ban Grosjean again just yet - they'll wait until the end of the season to see how things go. If he screws up again during this period, I think they'll give him a 3 race ban this time.

Romain is a real danger for others drivers........ he is mighty fast but what he do also in MotoGP was someone like him and now is dead. If Michael didn't announce his retirement maybe can replace him but now i don't see any option for Lotus (maybe Di Resta )

I don't understand why the pit lane starts isn't an obvious punishment for the stewards, punishes him quite severely (i.e. makes points pretty unlikely) and removes the danger at starts.
In fact, not just for him but generally causing an avoidable collision on first lap = pit lane start next time would be a decent standard for all drivers I'd think. Would certainly focus the mind if it was a commonly doled punishment - it would drill into heads that 'if I take his nose off in turn 1 I'm in trouble'.
