Do we even have ANY indication that this is a factor? Because the other teams with the same engine have no problems. And the desired torque output can be reduced via changing the engine mapping, so if anything it's a problem of a too aggressive mapping and not a physical characteristic of the engine.

The talk in the paddock according to Marc Surer is that the team wants Hülkenberg. There are some issues with the Mexican sponsorship but it looks like they are going to sort them out. It could mean that Sutil may get his seat back at Force India. Kobayashi is getting some pressure to bring in sponsorship. I don't know how to read that. Not sure who would be on pole to take that seat if it is taken away from him. Gutierrez probably.
Why would Sutil get his seat back? He was a free agent before and nobody wanted him. And with Force India being in financial trouble, I can't see them taking a driver without sponsors.

Hulk is in at Sauber. Good for him. I hope the Sauber next year is at least as good as it is this year.

As for the Mercedes engine being the reason Mercedes F1 is chewing up tires, why doesn't Mclaren have the same issues?

Not "official", but since Autosport ran it, I'd say it pretty much is a done deal.

Autosport runs a lot of rumors. I'm not saying it's a done deal, I'm not saying it's not. I'm not saying Autosport isn't reliable, either - I'm just saying that they DO run rumors.

I personally believe it will happen, but until there is official word, we're in no position to say it will.

So with all of those sentences you basically said nothing at all, good job.

But without a Perez/Gutierrez and Kobayashi at Sauber I will find it difficult to support Sauber as I did this year. But I wish them all the best and hope that they continue to produce great cars.

I am understanding that there could be a Hulk/Kimui line up with performance detail for Kimui, however Estaban will take FP1 seats at every GP next year untill Kimui fails to reach his target of points.

Basically, Kimui will have to score 50 points in the first half of the season, otherwise he is gone and Estaban will replace.

However it is expected that Kimui will have to go and try and bring a sponsor allong for the ride, even if Sauber has said otherwise publically.

I have no idea why Sauber hasnt put Estaban in the car for the past two FP1 in Sergios car as he is leaving next year, so he dosnt have anything to loose. However Perez is the teams best way of scoring points in the hunt for P5 and beating Mercedes for plenty of €€€ in prize money.

Im expecting Alguersauri to be at Force India, that may well be Sahara F1 Team next year.

How could you say that Perez has nothing to lose by missing out in a FP? Senna is constantly hampered by that situation where Bottas takes his seat time.

And for the rest, I admire your "knowledge" but do you have any facts to back your information up? This is getting out of hand ESP.

I think what ESP means is that Perez's results for the rest of the year don't really matter. However given the WCC situation they clearly do.

Not to mention "Alguersauri" = Alguersuari

It almost sounds like a dinosaur with the wrong spelling: Alguersaurius

Not really cool to show up a learning difficulty, I have always found spelling foregn and some longer english words hard. Its like telling someone who is in a wheelchair they are in a wheelchair.

According to PaddockTalk.com, Pedro de la Rosa will definitely be staying at HRT in 2013.

Jaime Alguersuari is another candidate, with Speed Week saying the former Toro Rosso driver and Pirelli tester has "put together an enticing sponsor package" for 2013.

He had a 2-year contract spanning 2012 to 2013 anyways, so barring last minute changes he was always going to stay.

I heard that too - though I heard he was in the frame for Caterham and/or Force India rather than HRT. I'm sure Jaime would prefer a Caterham or Force India drive to HRT...

I'll still pull for Sauber next year. I have always liked Hulkenburg. He'll do well there.
