Clockwise vs anti-clockwise

Post

Interestingly the last 3 races of the calender are anti clock wise, I am just curious if the direction of tracks will have any impact on the drivers?

It used to, because it used to be that the vast majority of tracks were clockwise, so the drivers necks were very strong on one side, and not so much the other. These days though, the split is much more even, so it's not so much of a problem.

In motorbike racing you get some top riders from a dirt track background, which means they spent their early days only going round left handers. They tend to go noticeably better at anti clockwise circuits!

They are more prepared through physical training than ever before, and not to mention through the simulators themselves.

Isn't it true that Massa for instance has always performed better in anti-clockwise circuits? For example: Turkey, Brazil etc. Or is it just that these circuits suited better to his driving style?

Maybe it's just me but anti clockwise circuits seem to have a lot more long sweeping high speed corners. More "organic" roads so to say. I could be wrong though.
