@mnmracer: Yes but he has a RBR now, it was way worse at these times, maybe it still is
Nah ok as raymond says, RBR should be great if it rains... It would not prevent Vettel to make a mistake though. The title is him to loose.

Anyway the true question is: what will Timo do? :-k

Well, the last of the two to crash out in the rain was Alonso in Belgium 2010.
Vettel running wide in Canada last year would not make a difference in Alonso's title chances.

Glock is probably wishing he was back in that Toyota struggling in the wet, instead of in the Marussia in it's optimal set-up

Looking at the weather forecast, what are the chances of the race being red flagged and half-point rewarded?
What are the permutations if it occur?

if the race is stopped before and half points are awarded, then Vettel will win the WDC even if he DNFs and Alonso wins the race....coz 12.5 points for win wont overhaul a 13 points lead

While Alonso can mathematically win, I think his only real hope is that Vettel suffers a DNF through mechanical failure or being taken out by someone else. Vettel will want to get pole in order to limit the chances of being taken out by a Spa-type start incident.

Alonso's best chance is to drive the wheels off his car and hope that Vettel makes a mistake but that will, I think, require mixed weather conditions to work.

This title is Vettel's to lose now: Alonso can't win it, he can only be given it by Vettel.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
