I guess that means Trulli is out of a ride? No way in hell he'd drive for Jordan. He could probably go to Jaguar if Webber decides to move to Williams (hopefully it will happen)

Webber and Button. Now wouldn't that be interesting.

this is probably a negotiating move for ralf against williams, i just can't see renault willing to pay ralf rediculous salary demands when they can have so many other equally skilled, if not better drivers, for less. if renault is looking to replace trulli, who to my knowledge they have been haoopy with, they would probably do it with webber - flavio is his manager, plus he is a great talent and if renault can flex there muscle this year then they would certainly be a welcome change for mark to the jag he is stuck in right now.

Ralf S to Renault in 2005 (was: 2004)!!!

Post

I think the subject should be Ralf S to Renault in 2005 !!!

Anyway, now we can predict who will come to Williams. I believe there was a "hidden" discussion between Ron and Frank to "exchange" their driver. Montoya will go for McLaren in 2005 and David will go for Williams in 2005. And now another opportunity will available for Williams seat

Very disappionted to see him leave Williams, but he is overpaid, he should be getting the same amount of mone as JPM. Just wondering, does Ralf makes the demands or is it his manager, Wilis Weber?

Of course!!!! Willi Weber is clearly having lots of trouble selling Ralf as "the next big thing", by the huge salary he wants, to anyone after these seasons alongside Montoya, in which all we have seen is a guy that crashes when out-performed by its teammate, because can't accept someone in the same car being faster than himself and that if it is the big brother wanting to overtake, just makes his job as easy as possible (family respect!!!!).
Renault would be stupid, with people like Montagny and Webber under contract, to sign with Ralfie. If they want to be champions in 2005, it won't be with Ralf crashing into Alonso every race!!!!!

found that the most idiot rumour in months :D
I just can't imagine Briatore being interested in Ralf, when he has Webber under his own management, a guy that is without a doubt more interesting for Renault than Ralf. He's hot in F1, Briatore knows him and is simply quick ;)

Seems to me that Jaguar (Ford) are only in F1 for the profile. They are not serious about winning the championship. If they were they'd need to be putting up the same budget as Toyota. If they start pumping more money in right now, it will still take years for them to catch up. let alone take to the front. If Webber wants real results, and a shot at the title, he needs to move to a top team. He knows that, and is simply waiting for his opportunity, doing the best he can with the tools that he has. I don't know how he gets the results out of the Jag that he does. In a top team, he will win.
