Can you imagine Alonso with a teammate that would be allowed to race him? He'd need to triple his Risperdal dosage to not lose it.
Allowed to race him?

This another fanboy myth, where do people get that Alonso's teammates are not allowed to race him?

They are allowed to race him until they fall about 100 points behind him in the WDC at which point they become a number 2 driver.

Simples.

Calling Ferrari the best team in the world is a bit of a stretch, isn't it. When did they last win a championship? And didn't their technical director just tell the public that all their procedures will have to reviewed and significantly improved to become really competitive. And isn't their wind tunnel screwed up for several years in a row because the can't calibrate it? And are they not forced to use a better tunnel build by Toyota who according to you shouldn't have better equipment than Ferrari. Many questions.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

Mika Häkkinen.
Yeah, if anyone it could be him. Although I remember Coulthard complained about Hakkinen breaking some informal agreements at the Australian GP 1998. And had Schuey not crashed at Stowe Mika wouldn't probably be a double WDC, but all in all -- yeah, he would stand out in that respect.
