To be fair, I don't think it's anywhere near the top of unreliability charts as far as recent year top cars are concerned. This is based off a gut feel, mind you, and not something concrete.

It would be odd if it did considering how reliable today´s cars are in general :)

I think though if we count cars this season, the Mclaren would find it´s place around the top.
But same there, just gut feeling.

On raw pace I think the McLaren was the quickest - but it's the most fragile of the top cars too.

yea on low fuel the car was just magic. Just a bit confused by the rain issues as it wasn´t just one wet compound but it switched between the two for Germany and Britain.

bit odd about the gearbox as well, doesn´t FI use the same one?

Gearbox? What about it? It only failed once, to memory - and that was after a hefty wall-whack.

My memory must have failed me, i thought it was at least two.
I´ll see if i can gather a list of the failures.

Forgot about this, thanks.

And if we include car problems but not retirements then i guess Suzuka for both and Korea for Hamilton.
Although Button´s gearbox issue in Suzuka perhaps wasn´t that big of a problem.

The HRT. I challenge anyone to complete the number of laps they did, as competitively as they did, given similar resourcing. I genuinely mean this - the HRT was the car that surprised me most, the past 3 years really. Of their peers, Caterham were relatively swimming in money and talent and Manor win other series they enter.

Remember how often a Stewart or a Forti or even a Minardi failed to be seen during a weekend?

That is the car that most impressed me. The difference between the two drivers was quite large. Is Maldonado really that quick? It would have been interesting to see one of the top known drivers in that car for a few races.
Honda!
