1973 : the last Targa "mondiale" valid for the World Championship for Makes.

Well, unfortunately the image quality is really poor, but the soundtrack is quite well.
This was not the race, just the preparation for the race on more or less "closed road".

Thanks for the documentary ! It is indeed Jacques Deschenaux who is doing the commentary on this video. I cannot see the logo of the channel tho (if it is TSR, then it is a Swiss TV channel and indeed Mr Deschenaux did worki for them for decades), but it should be this one :

The documentary about the 1973 Targa Florio has been beautifully restored by the RTS (Radio Television Suisse)

Now in much improved quality but still in french only...
