Yes --I have are a source site that lists 10 links--most from US engineering schools-- ask me next week --swamped with work--

open foam and many others are free but they are for linux not for windows and that´s my problem. Are there any free programs for windows?

Free CFD software is an oxymoron. You could probably find a cracked version of any CFD tool on the market, but thats like stealing 20-50K. Here in the CFD market, we don't look kindly on those people.

Any tool that is worth a darn is going to cost you (unless you are a student).

Can't find the benchmark. As memory seves it was shareware--listed at the Berkeley U in California USA-- I believe it was free to University Students--perhaps only US students--I do remember finding it on Goggle about 4 months ago--

Yeah im probably going to buy something cheap if I start working soon...

But they can offer something free right :roll: I mean something not so powerful, on a beginnig level... I just want to check few things I´m not going to start my own company or something, so should I spend 1000+ $ on some CFD software? [-X

This is the third thread on the same subject in a few months. I dispair sometimes. Look into the forum and search for CFD, for heavens sake! Ehem. :)

I haven't reviewed the links I gave, I know they exist. Please, tell me if they are worthy of anything. In my page at http://www.ciropabon.co.nr I give the same links.

Windows? Ugh.. Well, do you have at least a Mac? In that case you could try ftp://ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu/Mac/UIFlow UIFlow for Macintosh. It rocks, I've toyed with it. I'm into car dynamics simulation, not into CFD, so excuse me if it's not good enough. I think Tomba should open a CFD links page.
