:D I was into F1 WAY back in the 60s. I use to be a crew chief on a F modifed SCCA racing team now B sportsracing. I loved F1 and my favorite driver was Jacky Stewart. I'm an artist now and do oil paintings of motorsports. I worked on a friends dirt race car and later got into sprintcar racing. We were one of the top teams at a race track called San Jose Speedway. We were second 5 years in a row and never out by more than 9 points. I built the cars and set them up. Now that I don't work on dirtcars anymore I am coming back to F1. My web site is http://www.rapier-art.com and I have over 80 examples of my work there. If there is anyone out there that would like a painting of F1 let my know. Other then that I look foreword to getting back to the world of F1. 8)

Welcome to the Forum...Always great to meet new members :)
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Hello, I'm just looking at your paintings, they're brilliant. I'm more into photography as I have no artistic tallent whatsoever.

I particularely like Jimmy Clark at Monaco, great driver, great car and great circuit.

Have any of the drivers ever seen your paintings?

8) Thanks everone for wecoming me. Tom the drivers of the dirt cars have seen the paintings. Those paintings were part of their awards for winning their championship. I have been commissioned by the track to do the championship oil paintings again this year. I should be getting the photos in the next few days. :) The painting of Felipe Massa at the switch back at Monaco is my favorite. If you look closely into his viser. You can just make out his face and see that he is looking down to the next corner. The same for the paintiing of Nicky Haydon painting titled I'm #1. I would love to do more F1 paintings and plan to. I have tryed to get permission to do oil paintings from web sites that have gallerys ( copywrights) ](*,) but no answers. If anyone has photos of F1 I would love to work from those. \:D/ . I am looking foreword to the 2007 season. I did the painting of Jimmy Clark Because He is one of my favorites also. I did a oil painting of Clay Regazoy ( Not sure of the spelling) at Monza back in the 70s. It was a great painting but someone stole it. [-X Been into F1 since Phil Hill> Back then I was just a we lad. O:)
