I guess they could've done it European-style and bickered about it for a few years until it wasn't a problem anymore. :wink:

OK guys, this is ridiculous, I think the police handled that whale incident very badly, obviously the particular Americans in charge were idiots, but that should have no reflection on the country as a whole. Also as Ciro has pointed out before, the noun American's refers to people from Alaska and Canada to Chile and Peru.

Both Europe and the USA do things their own way, and to be honest both make a fuc**ng hash of it.

So shifting the topic round, what would you have done? Use less explosive's? chopped it up? some other method?

pressumably there was a reaon why they didn't, although I considered that would be an idea. It would have to be a long way out to avoid it coming back.
