Just saw on Sky F1 some footage from todays morning, Lewis was using his DRS not only on the main straight

So this leaves his best times look in another light...

Edit: Redbull doing the same thing...

Webber aslo was using DRS between turn 9 and 10 and M.Brudle said that it could be 2 DRS zone this year ...

That's weird, what's the point of using DRS in a way that won't be allowed at any point in the season

If you are testing drs you would do as much as possible per lap not once a lap on the main straight?

There is also footage of him doing consecutive laps with no DRS use at all even on the main straight.

I think we need to stop trying to extrapolate from inconclusive data so much.

That's why long runs are the best indication, because on short ones you not only don't know fuel load but also you don't know DRS usage

Everyone says it's only testing and times don't matter but a quick time always gets a lot of scrutiny.

Interesting to see the last 7 outings for Ferrari. Each time they have pretty much gone for a fast/slow/fast/slow regarding lap times and then back into the pits.

Felipe's front left wheel just literally exploded off on the run down to turn ten.......luckily before the heavy braking zone...

Front left tire blew up on the back straight and then the entire wheel flew off the Ferrari.

EDIT: the tire seems to be ok, so it wasnt the tire that blew up
