Sadly, supersport rider Andrea Antonelli has died in a horror crash at Moscow's World Superbikes round

It's crazy that these guys are made to race in "torrential rain", its crazy on two wheels

Makes you think how ridiculous it is when they bring the safety car out in F1 for few drops of rain...

I saw the first Superbike race in the rain, it was insane then aswell, i hope they rly get to the bottom of this.

Yea saw the first WSBK race in the rain.... it wasn´t that bad though. Half the track was bone-dry and other half it was pissing down with rain.
After a while everyone except one hero decided to pit for tires.

The WSS race on the other hand started in totally wet conditions. When everyone had nearly done a lap and was out on the straight it looked just like F1 with a thick carpet of air and water suspended mid air.
Then you just saw someone collide with either a bike or a human and it was shortly red-flagged after that.

Not sure what to do with the rules, it was quite a visibility problem that led to the crash.

Very sad indeed.

Sadly Simonchelli's accident was in the dry. Bike racing is an open sport, more so than F1, but I guess that's what sells.

Not sure if F1 will ever move towards a closed cocpit...but nothing can be done about bikes...same goes for cycling...
