A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.
Some reshaping of the sidepods (a little in the style of the mp4-21)?
Sticking to the v-keel to no one's suprise.
Kinda smallish looking chimneys (as far as I can tell anyway).
Looks like a beautiful car, let's hope they don't screw up on the livery :).
If I was renault... I be seriously pissed that those pictures were out. The way that they did the mirrors is pretty ingenious (as they are in the sidepod shields). Somebody is going to be in trouble... I would have not showed those mirrors..keep it as a advantage until the start of the australian race.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.
I think Renault didn't want to hide a thing. If they wanted they would run unpainted car (CF black) with no stickers on it at all. I think this is intentional "leak" Flavio came up with to cause more publicity.
Car looks sexy - now compare how many changes Renault made to a WCC & WDC car with how many changes Toyota made to their car that was underachiever.

They already sponsored Renault last year Jason!!
As you can see on this picture!
The car looks good, but I got the feeling that he's smaller than last year. Can be just my eyes as well
The mirrors look kind of cool, but maybe it's not practical for the drivers.
johny wrote:nice looking compared to toyota. I like those shield-mounted mirrors, ferrari's concept works, also ferrari inspirated "twin rear wing support".
p.s. I like it
Credit where credit is due.
(BAR)Honda were the first to adopt the twin support for the rear wing.
