A violent crash during Saturday's qualifying session for the Indianapolis 500 had resulted in several fractures for Sebastian Bourdais. A small correction of oversteer sent him straight into the wall, badly damaging his car that immediately burst in flames as well.

...hope you'll do the same next year [-o< Yeah!.The race was brilliant. we need more of these classic American road courses like Road America, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Laguna Seca, Sebring, and COTA. No caution period racing actually works far better for Indy. Great to see Charlie get his first win. Really enjoyed it!I have to say... if there is a single IndyCar race non-IndyCar fans should watch... it's this one. Absolutely thrilling race.
