Hahahahaha, once again, someone thinks they can predict european weather in a hilly coastal area hit by the gulf stream over a week aheadgodlameroso wrote:Weather will be mixed for the weekend.
In qualifying they did, not sure it's doable with a full load of fuel. Then again they're not cornering as quickly so maybe...turbof1 wrote:You mean Blanchimont. They took that corner with DRS open last year. They can take that with a stalled rear wing too.
At which corner?reallydumb wrote:any one have a idea what the weather will be like for those days?

I'm glad you're amused but I haven't been wrong yet so maybe I know something others don't.beelsebob wrote:Hahahahaha, once again, someone thinks they can predict european weather in a hilly coastal area hit by the gulf stream over a week aheadgodlameroso wrote:Weather will be mixed for the weekend.
For reference, yr.no is saying sunny for friday and saturday. But I honestly wouldn't trust it this far out, and even they wouldn't trust themselves to get anything at all right as far out as sunday.

If you knew more than all of europe's weather forecasters put together, you'd be a very rich manHomer: Not a bear in sight. The Bear Patrol must be working like a charm.
Lisa: That's specious reasoning, Dad.
Homer: Thank you, dear.
Lisa: By your logic I could claim that this rock keeps tigers away.
Homer: Oh, how does it work?
Lisa: It doesn't work.
Homer: Uh-huh.
Lisa: It's just a stupid rock.
Homer: Uh-huh.
Lisa: But I don't see any tigers around, do you?
[Homer thinks of this, then pulls out some money]
Homer: Lisa, I want to buy your rock.
[Lisa refuses at first, then takes the exchange]
To be fair, it's entirely plausible that his forecast is 100% accurate (just not very detailed). The problem is, that if it turns out to be so, it'll be purely by chance, not through any skill.Hail22 wrote:I'd be willing to say you have more chances of being hit by lightening...on your birthday than accurately forecasting the weather for this Grand Prix haha.
Lol, hasn't it mixed weather there for the last 25 race weekends or something. If you want us to be impressed with your amazing skill at predicting the weather you'll have to give us much more detailgodlameroso wrote:Weather will be mixed for the weekend.
godlameroso wrote:Not last year.
I predicted Australia,Malaysia, China, Spain, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, and Hungary accurately weeks in advance. I didn't even bother for Monaco(the most difficult to predict especially at the end of spring), or Bahrain(even an idiot could predict the weather for that).
Like I said doubt if you want, by next Tuesday I will be able to give a more or less as to when it will rain, right now all the data I'm privy to says it will be a mixed weekend. It will be dry'ish Friday with some light rain and it might affect practice 1 or 2, Saturday will give you a drying track as overnight showers leave a damp track. Might be dry for qualifying. Sunday will be on and off rain, the wetness of the track will vary throughout the day not unlike Brazil of last year.
So you will be right either way? Nicely played, indeed.godlameroso wrote:It will be dry'ish Friday with some light rain and it might affect practice 1 or 2
