James Allison better be put in charge and be allowed to do his job, that's all I've got to say.

Briatore in the Ferrari garage!! A possible replacement for Domenicalli or just an occasional visit I wonder!!

Personally, I would love to see him leading the team. After all these years, it somehow makes me feel that a higher management shake up at Ferrari is imminent now. Make Briotore the TP and Allison the TD and fire SD and PF. :D

It's pretty clear to me that Pat Fry has already been marginalised in a way that means Ferrari don't have to admit their mistake. The guy can't design cars and seems to have fooled people into believing he can walk the walk. It's what I said as soon as he went there, incidentally.

The scene of him standing on the grid at Spa, staring at a McLaren and trying to look authoritative in the way that Newey tends to do pretty much said it all to me.

Briatore will never get a FiA license again unless the presidency changes beyond recognition.

James Allison still looks as if he's crying.

Fry's background is that of a race engineer rather than a designer, so i guess you could argue that it was a strange decision to make him technical director on that basis (I guess Ferrari like having a technical director who also oversees on track operations, just as Brawn did). What really puzzled me about his appointment is that he didn't really have a winning track record in the same way that Barnard or Brawn did.

Anyway, if Flavio joins it could be a Benetton reunion. Tombazis, Allison and Fry are already there.

They've already got some of the main players from Enstone in Ferrari now. Briatore would be...interesting if he were to be involved in the team somehow. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten a job yet in F1.

anyone has news about nexxt year ferrari's engine , renault and mercedes have unveiled some pics but ferrari's one remains mystery yet. there have been rumors that mercedes engine can enjoy 100bhp advantage over other engines and few people raise doubt that ferrari engine is lagging in development compare to mercedes and reanult one. i am worried a bit.

100 hp is a lot, but how does Mercedes know what the power output of their rivals has.

Short recap on the situation that's forming for the team in the middle of 2013:

1. Alonso and Raikkonen confirmed for at least two seasons - hard fact.
2. Simone Resta to continue work on 2013 car with Pat Fry.
3. James Allison to work on 2014 car, alongside Rory Byrne as consultant, with Fabio Montecchi as deputy chief designer.
4. Work for 2014 chassis and engine started as early as 2012 with Luca Marmorini involved.
