I am actually more interested to know who will drive along side Kimi if he is indeed going to Ferrari next year.

I think Kimi will have a larger fan based outside spain, so I am not sure how this is going to work out for Alonso and Ferrari next year.

Ferrari aren't happy with Alonso after his public criticism of the team and he was talking with Red Bull about next year so is t possible that he will be gone.
There's next to no zero chance of that happening. No team can afford to swap 2 drivers before the next season. Too many changes coming already and stability is important in those kind of situations.

Hulkenburg and Alonso are the pairing that makes most sense. And, I expect it to be a close contest actually.

I hope that alonso's balls are big enough to take a challenge from Räikkönen. Kimi goes to Ferrari, and Alonso is staying at Ferrari, i hope. Räikkönen-Alonso will bring the title back to Ferrari, but wdc is totally open, i believe. Alonso can be sometimes fastern than Kimi, but overall Kimi is more tuff and faster than Alonso, and Kimi got the Shell covering his back from stabbing, what will keep the Santander in a leash.. But Alonso is not a happy from that situation, but what can he do? Chance to Marussia, like DiM said.. I'm Finn too, so naturally happy about that thing. Better choice than RBR, i believe.

The one guy at Ferrari, which Kimi had a problem with him, was a Schumacher, Not DiM. Schumacher was behind the tricks for Kimi's car, and now Schumi is gone for good.

From what I read in this quote. Raikkonen Massa is only one driver change...

Although highly unlikely, Alonso has been a bit heated with the team as of recent.

Alonso has 3 years left on his contract after this season @ $28m per year so I can't see Ferrari paying him off like they did for Raikkonen in 2010 or him agreeing to walk uncompensated like he did at the end of 2007 with Mclaren. Not to mention any financial & commercial agreements Santander have with Ferrari that almost certainly hinge on Alonso being in the team- I don't know for sure but after the 2007 debacle I would have thought they may have considered this into their agreement.

Paying Alonso off is out of the question, but Ferrari can always unsettle Alonso with Kimi and push him to look for opportunity else where.

So assuming 2014 is Kimi + Alonso, what are the potential seats for Alonso after 2014? Mclaren as no.1 perhaps?

Kimi in Ferrari for 2014. Vettel goes to Ferrari in 2015 and Alonso to RBR in 2015.

I think who will go where in 2015 will very much depends on which manufacturer got it right with the new engine and KERS as that will pretty much determine the packing order for some years to come.

Don't forget that 2015 sees another wildcard - Honda.

I like how everyone started to worry about Alonso, Ferrari and destabilizing effect of their driver pair. Like Marko, Stewart and earlier Lauda. First one wasn't too worried about it when for a long time his team was considering to hire KR, why do that if it can be such a problem? Second one hired by Genii (still?) and probably didn't notice destabilizing effect "Raikkonen is leaving" drama had on their team, not to mention everything else associated with hiring him. Is Raikkonen taking Slade to Ferrari? We should ask J. Stewart.

Massa would be a good man for next year's Lotus, i guess(He would get his speed back with Team Lotus, after these Alonso's back up years) Hulkenberg is pretty fast guy, so propably they try to get him. I think it's a sad, if Felipe need to go back Sauber, but maybe they got the only free seat. Räikkönen goes to Ferrari for sure. Many dont believe it, cause last time the deal end, how it end, but truth is many time different. Räikkönen had a problem with one guy, last time in Ferrari. Many thinks that it was a Luca, but truth is the Schumacher was the problem, plus Ferrari needed that Santander deal, and Fernando was/is a part of Santander. If interested about those 2007-2009 Ferrari things, check from the google "The truth about Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari and Santander in 2008".
Maybe (Alonso and Räikkönen) both drive next 2-3 year with Ferrari. After that, they both are kind of a "old" guys, and maybe tired enough for travelling etc, and maybe those both end their career at Ferrari, like both has been sayed, and give a room for a new young talents.(Hopefully they can come drive without that much money, than nowadays. Räikkönen & Alonso are both the best drivers in F1, IMO. They just are so different kind of personals, that it's so easy to hate and love them. I'm a big fan of Räikkönen, and i dont like about Alonso too much, but still i respect what he do, but Räikkönen is still bit better, and funny guy, without need to be a important person. Anyhow.. Red Bull will gonna lose their title at next year. Räikkönen-Alonso will beat the Vettel-Ricciardo pair easily, and Merc drivers both underperforming too many times in a season, so Ferrari take the WCC for sure, but WDC is open, i believe. But what do i know, i'm just drunken Finn.
P.S. Sorry about the scandinavian "Rally-english".. Hope you understand still the point.

That's what I've been thinking (and hoping for) the entire time. Then we would have a direct comparison Vettel/Alonso/Kimi =D>

People can bury their heads in the sand if they want to, but this was not Alonso's choice.
