David Croft from Sky said he expects Alonso to go to McLaren, Massa to Lotus and Hulkenberg to Ferrari.

Alonso's move seems more and more likely as McLaren continue to push for his signature. The market is probably stuck on that as the moment, as his signature would make the informed hypothesis of Croft possible, which may be why Hulk hasn't got a deal in his pocket yet.

Certainly a reasonable view. According to Eddie Jordan Hulkenberg was off to Force India but I think all of these proposed deals hinge on money, sponsorship and the status of other drivers and that's what takes the time. A deal could be largely done only for something to come up and a driver to merry-go-round to joining another team. I expect Alonso to leave Ferrari if indeed a way can be found to extract him from all the contracts and commercial deals. It really makes no sense for him to be at Maranello if all he's doing is waiting for 2015. He's the key to the driver market now I think. I can't see Hulkenberg signing anything until that's settled.

As Eddie Jordan said to Martin Whitmarsh today "If you were happy with your drivers you would have signed them by now". That's about the size of it.

You have to love Eddie really. No holds barred for him and i guess since he broke the Hamilton/Mercedes news it would be foolish to brush of his latest "predictions".
I´m not too sure on the Alonso Mclaren deal though. Alonso has a contract until 2016 with Ferrari and has always talked about retiring at Ferrari or possibly even extending his deal.

However i can see quite a lot of drivers drooling over the Mclaren/Honda partnership. If i got the seat for 2015 i´d paint my helmet yellow and pretend i´m Senna.

According to La Gazzetta, Hulk to Lotus is done - http://www.gazzetta.it/Sport-Motori/For ... 5183.shtml

Alonso to Mclaren story, as it seems, starts 4 months ago... more on that later.

Barring spectacularly poor reliability, Mercedes should be cruising to 20 1-2s next season.

Because Adrian Newey will have somehow forgotten how to build fast cars and Renault great engines?

No, but I feel that Merc could be strong next year, too.

The fuel restrictions will force substantial aero changes and it is not a given that Newey and co. will have a superior package from go.

This thread should be called Silly feelings 2013/2014 because 90% of everything that's being said in here, is based on a personal feeling rather then a fact/statement/argument/etc...

James Allen states Hulk's contract is done, but there are rumors as to which team he is actually contracted. EJ seems to think FI. Some others are hinting at Lotus. So either way, we will be seeing Hulk next year.

He also stated that Mclaren are trying like hell to sign Alonso for 2015, but it isn't solidified. Ferrari must be aware of this since they signed Kimi as a hedge. I think it will come down to how competitive the Ferrari is next year, but that's my guess.

Grosjean is also close to being confirmed but the contracts just need to be signed. Makes sense for that deal as you keep someone who has experience with the team and who is performing very well recently.

Yep after reading the above article too it appears Hulk @ Lotus is done but confirming sponsorship and budget backing so they don't end up in the same situation where they end up not paying Kimi.

Doesn't the Hulk deal remind you of something similar with Kubica a few years back going to Renault?

Why? Because it was moving from Sauber to Enstone?

No, because it's a very poorly concealed knowledge that Mercedes will have a big advantage next year.

That is nothing but a rumor at the moment. For all we know Ferrari could clean up.
