I was looking for a drive for Hulkenberg before it was cool, the best one - Red Bull, but that was before learning that he's a fatso, same as Di Resta

. I missed the part where Maldonado is out-driven by a team-mate, Bottas is very good but 1. it didn't happen 2. I wouldn't draw conclusions from the season of fighting for 14-16. If Lotus are considering Maldo budget hole after overpaying Raikkonen must be really big, surprise, surprise. Hulkenberg is fatter, slower(?), expensive but more reliable and thus slightly better sporting choice. Maybe they don't have a choice?
This "poor NH can't find competitive drive" drama should draw more attention to cost control. Who needs more than four teams in F1? The trend is not only about the budget to survive, it's about money distribution that means better results are not profitable enough to justify investment in talent. Add to that change of rules affecting financial and sporting level and circle is complete. Soon it will be like DTM.
I'm interested how they will handle further development of engines, for 2014 anyone but manufacturers is behind but for 2015 they should come up with some equalizing - early deadline for changes(?). Unless Strategy Group of teams supposedly working in the interest of everyone in a shocking turn of events will work in their own interest.
