That does seem like something Shitmarsh would pull. So why not.

But if they are going to axe Perez or Button they should be nice enough to do it now. So they have a chance to findean a seat the least they can do is fire them on Monday so they can start looking for a new seat. Officially. I mean give the drivers a little courtesy. Be it Button or Perez.

Agreed, Mclaren aren't being very professional. I suspect part of this is because they are still in pursuit of Alonso. None the less, this isn't good for driver performance.

Vandoorne, who is managed by Button, to replace Button, leaving Button without a drive next season??

That seems a little unlikely to me...
Favourite driver: Lando Norris
Favourite team: McLaren

Turned down the chance to meet Vettel at Silverstone in 2007. He was a test driver at the time and I didn't think it was worth queuing!! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Are you sure this is correct?

Button started up a company called The Sports Partnership with Richard Goddard and James Williamson.
Vandoorne is part of that management company.

Goddard seem to be the actual manager here though and not Button who i´m sure is more then busy taking care of his own stuff. (Goddard manages Button for example)

I think Button is probably a silent partner, no? Would prove to be quite a conflict of interest otherwise

Yes i´d say Button co-founded it, probably helps seeking out talent but Goddard and Williamson actually runs the company.

Hulkenberg´s manager turned down an offer to have Hulk drive the last two races at Lotus.
So that´s one guy down on the list of potential guys.

Could this perhaps be a sign that Hulkenberg might in fact continue to stay at Sauber for another year?
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

What's the big deal? At least he's saying it publicly under his name and not through anonymous senior sources press leaks. Why McLaren are delaying announcement, because of half-Mexican GP?

Perez has two choices 1. colour his hair blonde and get blue lenses but it's too late for that. 2. Strike a deal with Force India. He scores no points or goes on early vacation = FI beats McLaren in exchange for the seat next season.

Told you about Hulkenberg, for many reasons (no it doesn't mean he's staying).

Perhaps Perez daring to criticise McLaren publicly is a sign that he no longer has anything (or any contract) to lose?

What does blond hair and blue eyes have to do with anything??

But i do agree that they could just as well anounce what the drivers are. If its not Perez then he has a chance of securing another seat somewhere else.
