Well having been a long term admirer of the true racers team I am pleased to say that testing looks as though the team might have got there reliability back and might be back on the charts again.
How nice for us that like true racing team spirit to get amongst the big manufacturers again.

Yup same here...
As a fan of Williams I obviously want to cheer for them... but they've lost the plot since 2004
Bring back wider rear wings, V10s, and tobacco advertisements
i won't say pathetic, we know getting wins nowadays is so hard. Then if you compete with mega budget manufacturer teams, the game has changed where you used to get a good engine and put your chassis to win finished long time ago so williams objetives should be far lower, last year was bad but it looks they're doing good with the new engine and they'll get lot of points this year
The FW28 was not a bad car. It performed well in testing. It went into the season with an engine problem. It was not Coworth's fault, they were let down by a component supplyer. Williams were not able to develop the FW28 and in my opinion, they ceased development very early in the season.
Williams have made some changes and things are looking ok again. I do not buy into the gloom and doom that says that Williams are finished or are a long way off a race win. Things can fall for you as easily as they can go against you in this sport.
Everyone has heard the expression "a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link". In racing, this is very true. A team has many factors to make good to get a truly competitive car, and just one weakness (engine, eraro, pace of development, for example), and the competition races past them. Williams is a major organization with all the departments and resources to be up at the top. It was just a few very short years ago when they constantly resided in the top three. So if Williams can overcome the obstacles that have hindered success, they could move back up in the standings and respectability.
In the last few years, Ferrari raised the bar on all areas, and only Renault have been able to fight back to true competitiveness. And hopefully, it's possible. Williams are competitive, gritty, and resourceful. They are also not afraid to try new innovations (remember the walrus nose?), and that makes them exciting.
