Why talk with such a lack of respect?
He WAS my favorite, coming up but I could not figure out how playing video racing games
Qualified him to get into a race car. He certianly knew how to ruin a perfectly good race car AND piss off all the other drivers at the same time.
Performing well on many occasions does not qualify him to get in an f1 car.
Respect is a two way street and it has to be earned.

Not always the case. Senna was disrespectful to many of his peers.

Dale Earnhardt flat out wrecked people for the win.

One of the things I like about JPM is the style in which he exhibits his enjoyment of his racing. I'm not big on the show business aspect of racing, but I can't take much of an interest in somebody I can't identify with at all. So to that extent I want a show...a reality show as it were...that I can believe is actual reality...without being taken for a fool or a tool. PS - F "relevance". Racing doesn't have to be relevant. Racing Is relevant.

And Montoya earned a TON of respect after his stint in F1. On occasions he drove even better than Schumacher, Alonso & Raikkonen.

Nascar and F1 are 2 completely different leagues. But in my huble opionion, his results in F1 are a gazillion times more important than his results in NASCAR.

I'm very much looking forward to his debut this year in Indycar!

Montoya won the Indy 500 in 2000, so it's more a return than a debut.

He won the whole championship in 1999 in his debut season, CART FedEx Championship.
