Surely this is serious, though I believe placing patient in coma is standard practice when treating head injuries. Hoping he'd recover [-o<

2) acuteness and amplitude of pressure rise when hematoma forms
3) rapidity with which it is drained
4) quality of neuro intensive care and rehab

Depends if it was medically induced, if it was I think they do that to prevent swelling etc.

This is terrible news for anyone, especially the parent of young children. I hope the best for him. It's ironic that the man spends decades competing in one of the most dangerous sports in the world and then suffers this sort of injury on holiday.
