It's common to hear that Formula One is too expensive for up and coming drivers, not to mention feeder series like GP2, GP3, F3, and supposedly karting as well. Is the problem that these racing series' are becoming increasingly expensive, or that they are simply growing (in terms of drivers), forcing those who cannot pay to quit?
