Mercedes F1 W05 Pre-launch Speculation

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

I thought that re the nose, but looks a little 2 high. The rear looks like there is quite a steap drop off on the engine cover, possibly some tight packaging

It also tightens up quite early. That tiny reflection is the edge of the nose.

at about 0:57 it appears to have 2 very skinny rear wing supports in the centre of the rear wing, dunno if this is just an optical illusion

With some motion blur removal in photoshop:

Nose looks Ferrariesque, but with a less extreme low tip. But it's hard to draw too many conclusions from a picture this low quality.

Could that be a tiny outlet just around the antenna there? or just the seam of the carbon part?

That is definitely a Ferrari nose.
I think it's closer to the Orange McLaren concept nose by MCDesign than Ferrari's brewers droop.

Camera pods looks like Ferrari, even little bit higher.
