That's correct. You only see them in testing though as they mount on the wheel nut and it's not practical to have them on race weekends as you need quick tire changes then. That, and also you would not really focus on data collection while a race is underway, as well as not forgetting safety issues with these things flying off on contact.MrT wrote:They are data aquisition sensors - Optical slip angle sensors.
