Hopefully not but it wouldn't surprise me. Bunch of goons! Here in the UK, Sky are giving sector times via the red button service on TV but the official site is, as you say, only showing colour codes. If this is the case for qualifying and race day, then my enjoyment has been ruined significantly.

May not be such a disaster for Red Bull after all then. If they sort their reliability, even if they end up being 2 or 3 seconds off the pace.. they'll still pick up valuable points.

Hard to compare P1 times with last year since there is so much more to gain with these new cars but at the moment ALO's time of 32.588 is 5 seconds slower than VET's last year P1 time of 27.211

I guess they'll end this session in the 29's

Cars look OK, low noses are generally better, even pencil noses kind of disappear visually on track. Exception is Ferrari's hideous vacuum cleaner/leaf blower. Sound is OK (or maybe I don't care), lots of whistling.

@MercedesAMGF1: Update on @LewisHamilton's car.. An oil pressure alarm led to a precautionary engine shutdown. Cause to be investigated when car returns.

Good news - it's no biggie. Bad news - whole session lost.

Seeing the Red Bull and reading the rules, it seems the graphic ought to look more like this:

EDIT: Although having re-read them, I don't see how it can comply with this:

20.3.1 All cars must be equipped with five positions in which cameras or camera housings can be fitted. Referring to Drawing 6, all cars must carry (i) a camera in position 4 and (ii) a camera or camera housing in positions 2 (both sides), 3 and either 1 or 5.

Both sides. So shouldn't it have two holes?
