this should be easier to read...

The graph shows the two Mercs ahead, then Vettel and then Bottas. Then a group of Button, Perez and Alonso. Alonso's times seem to fall off, so maybe in fuel saving mode?

Grossjean looks to be a podium contender based on the very short run he did. Hard to tell anything from that.

And to note, looking at the stints, if the drivers split running medium and soft tires between the two, it looks to be around a 1.0 second difference in race trim. This is if the drivers split the tires between the two, and for all teams not including Merc.

How the hell do you know the Merc has higher fuel consumption? The fuel flow limit is capped.
Presumably reading between the lines of Rosberg saying he was using too much fuel in his FP2 runs.

I'm only watching the replays of practice now, but another thing: I think the cars look really cool. Pretty much all of them, but the Williams, Sauber and McLaren 'finger' noses in particular look great to me. Just looks like the old low noses have been brought to an agressive point.

I was also interested to see that Alonso's best time came on his second lap of the soft tyre run, which you would not think would be optimal. Also Raikonnen did a fast(ish) time, a slow down time and then his fastest time, which is interesting.

EDIT: And Alonso was apparently fastest in first sector, which might indicate that his tyres were less than perfect towards the end of the lap because of his extra lap (or could indicate that they're just not good in the other sectors, of course).

I don't think it's a coincidence that the merc camp kept talking about fuel in the recent weeks, and according to them during their race simulation they finish 2nd. The only reason that i can think of them finishing second is they don't have enough fuel to push all the way.

Ferrari is solid and should compete for a podium.
Red Bull is Q3 material quite easily already.
Williams fast lap was nothing to write home about, but Bottas race sim was really good.

Tyres might be too durable...

there is a difference between max flow and consumption, They are going to make 100kg last for ~1½-2 hours so
they are not at the 100kg/hour flow limit all the time so of it is spend braking, not at full power etc.

But if they can brake later, accelerate harder they may spend so much time at full power that they go fast but
can't make 100kg last a race

For Mercedes i assume it´s a bit like being faster then the bear.
You don´t have to be the fastest guy outrunning the bear, only faster then the slowest guy meaning if Mercedes cut the pace and run to the second fastest team they are good to go.

So should they slipstream the leader and save fuel the whole race and then pour on the power at the end for the win? Will F1 turn into velodrome bike racing?
Winning is the most important. Everything is consequence of that. Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose.-Ayrton Senna

Hail, are you present ? Is there a stream for timing available ? Much appreciated if you'd like to share it!

Or if there's anyone else who can share a skysprt link for timing ?

Cars look very heavy on track. The increased weight is obvious in the how they understeer off track.
For Sure!!
